Celebrate Birmingham Hometown Parade on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 1:00 pm, rain or shine, followed by a family oriented Party in Shain Park.

You have three opportunities to participate in the 2024 Celebrate Birmingham Hometown Parade and Party in Shain Park:

  • As a Participant - walking proudly with your organization in the parade and/or showcase your organization with a table at the party in Shain park (sign up here);
  •  As a Sponsor - supporting the parade with a financial, or in-kind, donation and being recognized for your contribution (sign up here and see the 2024 sponsorship options); and/or
  • As a Volunteer - donating about two hours of your time on Parade Day (sign up here).

Please feel free to invite all groups with which you are associated to join in the parade celebration.

Don’t delay, parade participants need to register by May 1, 2024 and sponsors need to register by April 26, 2024. Your email address will be used to notify you of key information as the parade date approaches.

The highly anticipated Celebrate Birmingham Hometown Parade and Party took place on May 21, 2023 in Downtown Birmingham and Shain Park. The event was well attended and had something for everybody to enjoy. The clerk's office extends its heartfelt gratitude to the entire community and all those who joined the parade or participated in the activities at Shain Park.
