RESIDENTS
COVID-19 Updates for Residents:
- City boards and committees are now meeting in-person and many have a virtual option available to the public. Individuals who would like to attend meetings in person can access City Hall from the Martin Street entrance during normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. For meetings that occur after hours, visitors can access City Hall through the Police Department lobby entrance on Pierce Street.
- The City recommends members of the public wear a mask if they have been exposed to COVID-19 or have a respiratory illness. City staff, City Commission and all board and committee members must wear a mask if they have been exposed to COVID-19 or actively
have a respiratory illness. The City continues to provide KN-95 respirators and triple layered masks for attendees. . - Virtual Option for the Public - Most City Meetings
- Members of the public who prefer to attend meetings virtually may continue to do so (available for most city meetings) and learn how to participate at www.bhamgov.org/participate.
- Watching City Meetings
- The community may also watch many City meetings on the local cable access channel and by web streaming on the City's Vimeo channel.

- Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the City’s parking structures, in parks and high traffic areas.
- The City Hall lobby is accessible to the public through the Martin Street entrance on the north side of City Hall, Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. Forms and payments may be submitted 24/7 via the drop box located behind City Hall or at www.bhamgov.org/formsandpayments. Residents are encouraged to contact any department requiring assistance via phone or email. Visit www.bhamgov.org/contacts to view a list of departmental contact numbers for services needed.
- Any documents that need to be provided to the City can also be dropped off at the Police Department entrance on the East side of the Municipal Building on Pierce Street.

Recreational Facilities
City recreational facilities are open. Hand sanitizer stations are in place at all parks, and regular cleaning occurs at all playgrounds and site furnishings in City parks.

- Support Services - Medical equipment loans will be available, phones answered and voicemails returned.
- Outreach - Well-check phone calls to simply touch base.
- SMART bus transportation is running for appointments to high priority destinations. Please call 2-3 days in advance to schedule a ride.
- Meals on Wheels will continue to provide meals to current clients. If you would like to sign up to receive meals in the future, call 248-203-5270.
- Ensure – Next has a large supply of Ensure for those who need additional nutritional support.

- MDHHS Mental Health Hotline: The MDHHS has launched a statewide hotline for Michiganders whose mental health has been impacted by COVID-19. The hotline operates seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Residents can reach the hotline at 888-733-7753.

- Oakland County Nurse on Call Hotline – (800) 848-5533: Oakland County residents who believe that they should be tested for COVID-19 exposure should contact their healthcare provider. However, those without a healthcare provider or who do not know whether their symptoms warrant contacting a doctor’s office can call the Nurse on Call hotline or e-mail the nurses on call at noc@oakgov.com.
