For groups of ten or more people, the Fire Department asks that you call the Station 1 at (248) 530.1906 to schedule a time and date for your tour. Groups under ten people are welcome to stop by and tour the station. Hours between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 Noon and between 1 and 4:00 p.m. are the best times to stop by. We do ask that parents accompany children during the tour.
The fire department will do everything in its power to provide you and your family with a pleasant station tour. However, due to the department being an emergency facility, there is always the chance that we may have to respond to an emergency run.
Please note that no food or drink is allowed in the buildings during tours, including birthday cakes or snacks of any kind. The fire department is unable to host or entertain parties, i.e. birthday parties, on the fire department premises.
