Trail Improvements & Booth Park Corner Feature

Design work is underway for improvements at Booth Park:  
Booth Park will receive improvements at the corner of Harmon and Old Woodward and into the park along the trail system. 

Section 1 (Booth Park) of the approved Trail Improvements Concept Plan elements will be part of the upcoming design work, including:
  • A new accessible plaza area at Booth Park, including a restroom facility
  • Addition of trail entry identifiers
  • Improvements to trail connectivity, including confidence markers and signage
  • Addition of accessible new trail
  • Accessible view sites
  • Native plant and pollinator gardens
  • New landscaping and trees

Recent enhancements to Adams Park (summer of 2022) include a significant play area, a garden seating plaza with a pergola, beautiful landscaping improvements with many new trees, benches, an open grassy area large enough for a soccer field, a basketball court, and track and field elements.  

Donate a bench:  $3,000- includes a plaque, hurry only 11 available.

Birmingham Ice Arena
Improvements to the BIA, completed in November of 2021, include bigger locker rooms, a team locker room, a party room available for reservations, concession stand improvements, a new look and feel to the arena, and a brand new ice plant system with sub-floor heating, allowing us to stay open year round!
