Birmingham Ice Sports Arena
The Birmingham Ice Sports Arena offers skating opportunities for those of all ages. Whether you want to rent ice for a party, participate in open skating, or register for skating lessons, the arena offers something for everyone! Located on the Kenning Park property, the indoor arena contains a regulation sized ice rink with bleacher seating for 550 spectators. A smaller, studio arena is used for lessons and skating parties within the complex.
- Girls Birmingham Unified Varsity High School Figure Skating Team, a combination of girls from Seaholm and Groves High Schools.
- Birmingham Unified Kings, the combined hockey team of Seaholm and Groves High Schools.

Birmingham Unified Ice Hockey
Formed in 1992, the Birmingham Unified Kings is a unified program for the school district. Varsity and JV teams are made up of students from Groves and Seaholm high schools. Home games are played on Saturday evenings from November - February. For information on the BU Kings, visit www.buvarsity.com.
