Lincoln Hills Dog Park

Did you know Birmingham has a dog park? The Lincoln Hills Dog Park is located at the southeast edge of the Lincoln Hills Golf Course, 2666 West Fourteen Mile Road, just west of Cranbrook Road. It's the perfect place for your pooch to get some year-round exercise and meet new friends. Watch the video above to learn more about it, and stop by soon!

A maximum of 10 people are allowed in the dog park.  Since there are only 10 people allowed inside at a time, people are asked to limit their time so as to not keep others waiting, if applicable.

We ask all members visiting the dog park, be able to control their dogs with voice commands in order to help to comply with social distancing guidelines.

No dog toys will be allowed.
Please clean – up after your dog.
A hand sanitizer station will be provided.  Most importantly, have fun!

The Lincoln Hills Dog Park is located at the southeast edge of the Lincoln Hills Golf Course, 2666 West Fourteen Mile Road, just west of Cranbrook Road.

  • The dog park is open every day from 6:00 am -10:00 pm.
  • However, on Wednesdays, the hours are 12:00 pm – 10:00 pm (April-November).
  • The size of the dog park is 0.85 acres.

Dog Park Key Fob & Application Information

Key fobs may be purchased via mail Cfolk@bhamgov.org.

Or by mail with payment and completed documents to:
Birmingham Ice Sports Arena, 2300 East Lincoln, Birmingham, MI 48009 
Please mail a check payable to the City of Birmingham 

To purchase the fob, you must do the following:

  • Complete the Dog Pass Pass Request with our online form.
  • Provide a  present dog(s) license of the city you reside in
  • Provide proof of rabies vaccinations
  • The annual resident fee is $50; the annual non-resident fee is $200. 


Temporary Dog Park Application Information

If you are a visitor to the City of Birmingham or would like to try out the dog park prior to purchasing a dog park pass you may purchase a temporary pass for one week pass for $20.  To purchase a temporary fob, you must do the following:

  • Complete the attached Dog Pass Application.
  • Provide dog(s) license of the city you reside in
  • Provide proof of rabies vaccinations


If you decide to purchase a dog park pass the temporary fee paid can be used towards a dog park pass. Guests can download the dog park application, fill it out, check the correct temporary day line and fill in the length of time one week.

The key fob must be returned to the City of Birmingham at the end of the one week use. Guest pets have to be neutered, current on vaccinations and conform to all the other rules of the dog park.

Dog Park Incident Form
We welcome your feedback as we want to stay aware of any issues that may arise at the dog park.
All issues must be filed within 24 hours of the initial incident.
Each form will be reviewed and researched by the Parks and Recreation Department within 48 business hours.

If this is in regards to a dog bite or an emergency situation, please contact 911 for police assistance.  An official report must be filed by the police before reporting it to our department.  Download Dog Park Incident Report
